What to Expect
The appointment is brief — most visits take thirty to forty minutes, start to finish. No anesthesia. No recovery period. Most people return to the rest of their day the same afternoon.
Results begin to appear within three to seven days and typically last three to six months, depending on the areas treated and your own physiology.

A Quiet Word on When to Begin
There is no single right age for Botox. The better guide is your own face — how persistent the lines have become, and whether they linger now even at rest.
Some choose to begin earlier, with small amounts, to keep gentle lines from deepening over the years. Others come when those lines have started to stay. Both are reasonable. Neither is required.
With consistent care, many find that less is needed over time, as the muscles learn to ease. And when you stop, they simply return to their natural movement over a few months — there is no accelerated aging, and nothing to undo.

Your Care, Provided by Dr. Liliana Pérez
Botox at Pelican Dental Care is provided by Dr. Liliana Pérez, DMD — a dentist who has cared for the Vero Beach community since 2010.
Dr. Pérez completed a prosthodontic residency in Colombia (1993–1998), with advanced training in restorative dentistry and the structure and movement of the face, and completed formal clinical training in Botox and dermal fillers in 2024. She is a licensed general dentist in Florida and is not recognized as a specialist in the United States.
What she brings to Botox is the thing it most depends on, and most often lacks: more than thirty years of exacting work with the muscles, nerves, and structures of the face — and the calm, measured restraint that comes with it.
